A lot of people are always asking me (as I'm a bit of a techy) if there is any way they can stop people sending them Junk Mail through the post or to stop tele-sales companies phoning you. Well, the answer is yes. Although it's not 100% fool proof because of companies who don't seem to comply to UK Regulations, however with that said, you can contact the following companies:

www.tpsonline.org.uk	-	this site enables you to help put a stop to a majority of telesales comapanies and even those annoying SMS Messages you get from companies trying to sell you things
www.mpsonline.org.uk	-	this site means you can stop most of the junk mail that comes through your door, or maybe just cancel it for a specific person or reason.
www.mpsonline.org.uk/bmpsr/	-	this is a great tool for stopping baby leaflets that come through the post. It is great if someone has just lost a baby for whatever reason and obviously although sent with good intent getting leaflets of that nature through the post could cause a lot of hurt
